The New York (NY) Newly Admitted Attorneys package is an extensive training program designed to provide newly-admitted New York attorneys with the knowledge and skills necessary to navigate contemporary issues in a variety of subjects while completely satisfying their yearly 16 CLE credit requirements (including Cybersecurity, Privacy, and Data-Protection, Ethics and Professionalism, Skills, Law Practice Management, and Areas of Professional Practice requirements). This comprehensive curriculum helps develop a strong foundation in a variety of legal concepts that are integral to the successful practice of law in New York: including dealing with difficult opponents in challenging depositions, legal writing, data privacy, and more! By taking this package, newly admitted New York attorneys will easily and conveniently enrich their working understanding of the increasing importance of technology in the legal profession, alongside the various regulatory and ethical pitfalls that must be navigated when practicing in the modern age, while simultaneously taking care of their annual CLE requirements. As a result, newly admitted New York attorneys will be better equipped to provide effective, professional, and well-versed professional representation to their clients, and overcome the complexities of a legal landscape that is increasingly embedded with the use of technology.
*CLE Accreditation
Please be advised that the courses offered in this package on LearnFormula have been accredited in at least one of New York's Group "A" "Approved Jurisdictions" on behalf of LearnFormula, and so are eligible to be counted towards your New York CLE requirement. These courses are 'transitional' in that they focus on providing a foundation in topics relevant to each of the credit categories required for newly admitted attorneys. In addition, the format of each course has been directly confirmed with the New York State Continuing Legal Education Board (July 28th, 2023) to qualify as "simultaneous transmission with synchronous interactivity", and so each course is provided in a format that is 'permissible' for any of the credit categories. Each course offers a downloadable brochure containing all of the required information necessary for you to retain for your records to ensure compliance with the CLE requirement.
(All courses except for "Basic Legal Tech Course" are accredited by the State Bar of Georgia; "Basic Legal Tech Course" is accredited by the State Bar of Florida)
